Anyone who got acquainted with criminal cases always raises the question “What is the price of a human life?”. It seemed at that war it didn’t cost event a penny. But the former lieutenant of the Red Army Boris Rudzyanko had his own fees in German currency for the lives of the Soviet people. The agent of Abvehr and the provoker, in the occupied Minsk he sold the lives of patriots – underground militaries, partisans, communication agents and all those, for whom he could get a reward. He was a dexterous agent with imagination and sharpness. But he didn’t manage to leave for the West with his bosses on time.

After the occupation he almost avoided the punishment of 7 years as a former prisoner of war. One year was left, when his case was reconsidered again. In some weeks, the folder with his name on it bloated and it was clear without the judgment – it is not enough to deprive this person of his life, but this is the only thing that the law allows.
